Senior Project Manager

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex projects from planning through delivery, ensuring agreed outcomes, budgets, timelines and risk controls are achieved. Requirements typically include substantial project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services, strong governance and reporting skills, and experience managing interdependent workstreams. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods, risk management, financial controls and project tools is valuable. The successful candidate will communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, build effective relationships across business and technology teams, resolve issues proactively and support sound decision-making. ANZ will expect strong leadership, commercial awareness, structured problem-solving, accountability and the ability to deliver change in a regulated environment.
