Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading site maintenance activities, improving equipment reliability and supporting safe, efficient steel production. The role typically requires a relevant engineering or trade qualification, substantial experience in heavy industry or manufacturing maintenance, and strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems. Experience managing contractors, budgets, shutdowns, compliance requirements and maintenance teams is expected. Candidates should demonstrate sound leadership, practical problem-solving skills, knowledge of workplace health and safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering and technical teams. Familiarity with reliability improvement, asset management and continuous improvement practices is highly desirable.
