Senior CAD Semiconductor Engineer

Job Description

The Senior CAD Semiconductor Engineer is expected to support and improve computer-aided design environments used for semiconductor development. Responsibilities typically include managing and optimizing EDA tools, design flows, libraries, process design kits, automation scripts, and technical infrastructure; troubleshooting complex CAD issues; and collaborating with chip designers, foundries, and global engineering teams. Candidates should have a degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline, together with several years of semiconductor CAD or EDA experience. Knowledge of tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens EDA, scripting with Python, Perl, Tcl, or Shell, Linux administration, and semiconductor design methodologies is highly valued. Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills are expected.
