Penang combines a strong technology and manufacturing economy with beaches, a relaxed lifestyle, and a diverse food culture. Langkawi is more tourism-focused, while Sabah and Sarawak offer nature, multicultural communities, and emerging digital opportunities. Malaysian workplaces are generally multicultural, professional, and relationship-oriented, with English widely used in multinational companies.
