Job Description

The Senior GIS Consultant / Technical Lead is expected to design, implement and support geographic information systems, spatial databases, mapping applications and location-based solutions. Requirements typically include a degree in GIS, geography, computer science or a related discipline; strong experience with Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, spatial databases, web GIS and GIS integration; and proficiency in relevant programming or scripting languages. The candidate should be comfortable leading technical teams, gathering client requirements, preparing solution designs, managing delivery risks and communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience in consulting, project delivery and mentoring junior professionals is highly valued. Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs and enterprise architecture would be advantageous.
