Junior Network Test Analyst

Job Description

The Junior Network Test Analyst supports the planning, execution and documentation of tests for network services, infrastructure and connectivity. Typical requirements include a diploma or degree in IT, networking or a related discipline, basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching and network troubleshooting, and familiarity with testing tools or defect-tracking systems. Entry-level certifications such as CCNA are useful. The candidate is expected to follow test plans, record accurate results, investigate faults, raise clear defect reports and work with engineers and project teams to resolve issues. Good communication, attention to detail, willingness to learn and the ability to work within structured processes are important. Some roles may require shift work or occasional customer-site support.
