Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates offers strong opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, events, and business services, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The country combines modern international cities with Emirati traditions, Islamic heritage, desert landscapes, beaches, and a multicultural population. Abu Dhabi provides a relatively calm lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, shopping, dining, museums, and outdoor activities, while Al Maryah Island is a central commercial and hospitality hub. Employers usually sponsor a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for overseas hires; requirements and benefits should be confirmed in the written contract. Many hospitality employers provide accommodation or an allowance, transport, meals, medical insurance, and annual leave. Employees should budget for summer heat, deposits, and initial living costs, and respect local laws, dress expectations, religious customs, and restrictions on alcohol. English is widely used in hospitality, although Arabic is valuable.
