Job Description

The Structural Engineer – Reactor Island role is expected to support the design, assessment and delivery of structural systems for nuclear or advanced energy facilities. Requirements typically include a degree in civil or structural engineering, relevant professional experience, strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design, and familiarity with design codes, safety standards and engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS or SAP2000. Experience with nuclear, power-generation or other safety-critical infrastructure is highly desirable. The candidate should be able to produce technical calculations and drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review contractor submissions, manage design risks and communicate clearly with clients. Professional registration and experience working in regulated engineering environments may also be expected.
