Job Description

The Oracle Core DBA is responsible for installing, configuring, administering, monitoring and optimizing Oracle databases in production and non-production environments. Requirements typically include several years of Oracle database administration experience, strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, backup and recovery, patching, high availability and disaster recovery. Experience with Linux or Unix, SQL, scripting and IT service-management processes is expected. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot incidents, support migrations and upgrades, maintain security and documentation, and participate in 24/7 on-call operations when required. Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, customer focus and the ability to work within global delivery teams are important.
