Company Info

Capgemini is a global business and technology services company headquartered in France, operating across more than 50 countries. It helps organizations modernize technology, improve business processes, and develop digital products through consulting, engineering, cloud, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and managed services. Capgemini works with major organizations in industries such as financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and the public sector. Its workforce includes consultants, software engineers, architects, analysts, project managers, and industry specialists. Destination Guide

Malaysia offers technology opportunities mainly in Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya, Penang, and Johor, with growing demand for SAP, cloud, software engineering, cybersecurity, and consulting professionals. For island living, Penang combines a strong technology sector with historic George Town, beaches, varied food, and a relaxed lifestyle, although housing and traffic can be challenging. Langkawi is quieter and scenic but has fewer professional opportunities, so remote work or relocation to the mainland may be necessary. Malaysian culture is diverse, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous influences; English is widely used in business. Living costs are moderate, while major cities offer international schools, healthcare, shopping, and public transport. Foreign employees normally need employer-sponsored work authorization, such as an Employment Pass, before starting work. Candidates should confirm sponsorship, tax obligations, healthcare, accommodation, and relocation support with Capgemini.
