SOC L2 Analyst

Job Description

The SOC L2 Analyst investigates and responds to escalated security alerts, conducts detailed log and event analysis, supports incident containment, and identifies indicators of compromise. Candidates typically need experience in a security operations centre, incident response, SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel, endpoint security, network fundamentals, and threat analysis. Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, vulnerability management, malware analysis, and security frameworks is advantageous. The role expects strong analytical and communication skills, accurate documentation, teamwork, and readiness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or equivalent experience are beneficial.
