Company Info

Carnival Cruise Line is one of the world's best-known cruise operators and a major brand within Carnival Corporation & plc. Headquartered in Miami, the company operates a large fleet serving destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Europe, and other popular cruise regions. Carnival is known for offering lively, family-friendly vacations featuring entertainment, dining, recreation, shore excursions, and a wide range of onboard activities. Its shore-based and shipboard teams work together to arrange travel, operate vessels safely, deliver hospitality, and create enjoyable guest experiences. The company employs people in customer service, sales, marine operations, hotel services, food and beverage, entertainment, technology, and corporate functions. Carnival generally emphasizes teamwork, inclusion, guest focus, performance, and a fun-oriented workplace culture.

Destination Guide

Although this is a remote shore-based position rather than an island job, Carnival connects guests and employees with destinations across the Caribbean. Cruise-related opportunities include guest services, shore excursions, hotel operations, entertainment, food and beverage, marine work, retail, and sales. Shipboard life is social, multicultural, and fast-paced, with long shifts, shared accommodation, limited personal space, and time in multiple ports. Lifestyle benefits can include travel, meals, accommodation, and international work experience, while schedules may be demanding. Visa and relocation requirements depend on nationality, ship itinerary, and employment location. Many crew members need a valid passport, medical clearance, background checks, safety training, and a seafarer or transit visa such as C1/D when applicable. Remote U.S. roles generally require residence and legal work authorization in the specified states, not relocation to an island.
