The successful candidate is expected to build productive partnerships, achieve revenue targets, identify new business opportunities, deliver sales training, represent Carnival at industry events, and maintain accurate activity reports. Company Info

Carnival Cruise Line is one of the world’s best-known cruise companies and a major brand within Carnival Corporation & plc. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the company operates a large fleet serving destinations across the Caribbean, The Bahamas, Mexico, Alaska, Europe, and other popular cruise regions. Carnival is recognized for its relaxed, lively vacation style, family-friendly activities, entertainment, dining, and value-oriented cruise packages. Its shore-based teams support sales, marketing, guest services, operations, technology, and corporate functions, while onboard employees work across marine, hotel, culinary, entertainment, retail, and safety departments. The company sells cruises through direct channels and an extensive network of travel advisors and business partners. Employees may benefit from a travel-focused work environment, professional development opportunities, health and retirement benefits, and access to cruise-related travel programs, depending on position and eligibility.

Destination Guide

For an On Cruise role, the workplace is generally a ship rather than a single island, although itineraries regularly visit Caribbean and other island destinations. Opportunities include deck operations, engineering, hospitality, culinary services, entertainment, guest relations, retail, security, and shore-based sales or corporate support. Cruise culture is international, energetic, and highly team-oriented, with employees working alongside colleagues and guests from many countries. Shipboard life can involve shared accommodation, long working hours, limited personal space, and contracts lasting several months, balanced by travel, onboard amenities, and the chance to visit multiple destinations. Visa requirements depend on nationality, vessel itinerary, and employment status; crew commonly need a passport, medical clearance, maritime documents, and relevant transit or crew visas such as a U.S. C-1/D visa. Shore-based North Carolina positions normally require U.S. work authorization and relocation within the territory rather than island relocation.
