Penang combines a growing technology sector with historic neighborhoods, excellent food and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Langkawi is quieter and suited to beach living, while Sabah offers nature, diving and outdoor activities. Reliable public transport is available in major cities, while island locations may require a car or scooter.
