The Senior Cybersecurity Operations Specialist is expected to monitor and investigate security events, manage incident response, analyze threats, and support the protection of enterprise systems and data. Typical requirements include several years of cybersecurity or security operations experience, knowledge of SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management and threat intelligence tools, and familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST. Experience with incident handling, log analysis, security investigations and reporting is valuable. Employers also look for strong communication, sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to work in shifts or within a 24/7 security operations environment. Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GCIH or CISSP may be advantageous.
