The IAM Engineer will design, implement, operate and improve identity and access management solutions across Astellas’ global technology environment. Requirements typically include several years of experience with IAM, Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta or similar platforms, along with knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect. Familiarity with privileged access management, role-based access control, automation, cloud security and IT service management is valuable. The successful candidate is expected to protect sensitive systems, support audits, resolve access issues, document procedures and work effectively with international security, infrastructure and business teams. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and professional English are likely required; Japanese language ability may be advantageous.
