Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress serves guests at Vintana Cafe, Shangri-La's all-day dining restaurant. Typical requirements include previous experience in a hotel or restaurant, good English communication skills, a pleasant and professional manner, basic food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate is expected to welcome guests, explain menu items, take and accurately process orders, serve food and beverages, maintain table presentation, respond to guest requests, follow hygiene and service standards, and coordinate effectively with kitchen and restaurant colleagues. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays is normally required. Hospitality training or a related qualification is an advantage.
