Job Description

The Tea Master is responsible for developing and delivering an exceptional Chinese tea experience for hotel guests, including selecting, storing, brewing and presenting a range of premium teas. The role typically requires strong knowledge of Chinese tea varieties, origins, brewing techniques and traditional etiquette, together with relevant hospitality experience. Fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous. The successful candidate should be polished, attentive and confident when explaining tea to guests, while maintaining high service standards and supporting restaurant operations. Good communication skills, cultural awareness, product knowledge and the ability to recommend teas to match meals are expected. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is also required.
