The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property, and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel, commercial, or law-enforcement security experience, good knowledge of emergency procedures, incident reporting, access control, CCTV monitoring, and local safety regulations. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one may be required. The candidate should be physically fit, observant, calm under pressure, trustworthy, and comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese are valuable, while Mandarin is an advantage.
