Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and maintaining a safe environment at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant security experience, strong communication skills, physical fitness, alertness and the ability to remain calm during emergencies. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one is normally required. Candidates should understand basic incident reporting, access control, patrol procedures, emergency response and customer service. The role may involve rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, discreet, observant and respectful when dealing with guests, staff, contractors and emergency services.
