Destination Guide

Singapore is a modern island city-state with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, restaurants, events and luxury hotel operations. Its culture blends Chinese, Malay, Indian and international influences, reflected in its food, festivals and everyday life. The city is clean, safe and efficient, with excellent public transport, reliable healthcare and a fast-paced working environment. Housing and dining can be expensive, especially near central districts, although public transport makes commuting practical. Foreign employees generally require employer-sponsored permission to work, commonly an Employment Pass or S Pass, subject to current salary and eligibility rules. Employers may assist with applications, but approval is handled by Singapore authorities. Candidates should confirm accommodation, medical coverage, taxes, contract terms and relocation support before accepting an offer.
