Destination Guide

Indonesia offers diverse opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, education, technology, and international business. Java, especially Jakarta, is the main commercial hub and provides the widest range of corporate and hotel roles. Bali is popular for resort employment and has a relaxed, international lifestyle, while Lombok and other islands offer smaller tourism markets and a quieter environment. Indonesian culture values politeness, community, respect for seniority, and religious diversity. Living costs vary considerably: Jakarta and Bali tourist areas can be expensive, while smaller cities are generally more affordable. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate limited-stay visa; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers usually guide the immigration process, documentation, medical checks, and relocation arrangements. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, tax, leave, and service-charge terms before accepting an offer.
