Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and service standards. Requirements typically include previous hotel housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Good communication skills, a professional appearance, physical stamina, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are expected. The successful candidate should inspect rooms, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, manage supplies, respond promptly to guest requests, train colleagues, and report maintenance or service issues. Familiarity with hotel operating systems and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction are advantageous.
