Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and assets at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant security experience, good physical fitness, basic computer skills, and strong communication in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is advantageous. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one is normally required. The successful candidate is expected to patrol the property, monitor CCTV and access points, respond calmly to emergencies, prepare incident reports, enforce hotel procedures, and provide courteous assistance to guests. Reliability, alertness, discretion, integrity and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays are essential.
