Job Description

The Engineer/Senior Engineer supports the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, plant equipment, and building systems remain safe, reliable, and operational. Candidates should have relevant technical qualifications or a diploma in electrical, mechanical, building services, or a related discipline, together with hotel, commercial-building, or facilities experience. The role requires practical knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, workplace safety, and basic building systems. Senior candidates are expected to guide junior engineers, coordinate contractors, respond to breakdowns efficiently, maintain service records, and support energy-saving initiatives. Shift work, weekends, and public holidays may be required. Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude are important.
