Job Description

The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the Director of Engineering in managing hotel facilities, building systems, preventive maintenance and engineering operations. Candidates are generally expected to hold a diploma or degree in engineering, preferably electrical or mechanical, with substantial experience in hotel engineering or a similar large property. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire and life-safety equipment, energy conservation and local regulations is important. The role requires leadership, budgeting, contractor supervision and the ability to respond quickly to operational problems.
