Stewarding Supervisor

Job Description

The Stewarding Supervisor oversees the stewarding team and ensures the cleanliness, sanitation, and smooth operation of kitchens, equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas. Typical requirements include hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel or resort, supervisory experience, knowledge of food-safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to train and coordinate staff. The successful candidate is expected to maintain high hygiene standards, manage cleaning supplies and equipment, control costs, prepare work schedules, support kitchen operations, and follow Shangri-La’s service and safety procedures. Good communication, leadership, physical stamina, attention to detail, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays are important.
