Public Area Supervisor

Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across hotel public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, restaurants, washrooms and other guest areas. Requirements typically include previous hotel housekeeping or public-area experience, knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures, good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to supervise a team. The successful candidate is expected to allocate duties, inspect completed work, manage supplies, respond promptly to guest and operational needs, and ensure compliance with Shangri-La service, safety and hygiene standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required. Cantonese, English or Mandarin language skills may be advantageous in Hong Kong.
