Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets while maintaining a welcoming service environment. Typical requirements include relevant hotel, security or customer-service experience, good communication skills, physical fitness, sound judgment and the ability to remain calm during emergencies. Candidates should be familiar with access control, patrols, incident reporting, CCTV monitoring, fire and life-safety procedures, and local security regulations. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one is generally expected. Shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, is required. Shangri-La will expect professionalism, discretion, alertness, reliability and a courteous approach when assisting guests and responding to incidents.
