Destination Guide

Malaysia offers opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism, wellness, and travel services, particularly in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah, and Sarawak. For island living, Langkawi is a popular choice, with beaches, international resorts, a relaxed pace, and a growing tourism economy. Penang provides richer heritage, food culture, urban amenities, and a larger local community, while Sabah offers nature-focused resort work and access to diving destinations. Malaysian culture is diverse, blending Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous traditions, with festivals, welcoming communities, and excellent food. Living costs vary; island locations may have higher rental prices in tourist areas. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass, and the company normally handles the application and immigration process. Candidates should confirm eligibility, contract terms, accommodation, transport, medical cover, and service-charge arrangements before relocating.
