Engineering Supervisor

Job Description

The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance and repair activities across the hotel, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, fire-life-safety and building systems. Requirements typically include a technical diploma or equivalent qualification, several years of hotel or building-services experience, and practical knowledge of preventive maintenance, safety procedures and local regulations. The candidate should be able to supervise technicians, allocate work, respond to emergencies, maintain accurate records and coordinate effectively with housekeeping, rooms and other departments. A hands-on approach, leadership ability, problem-solving skills, flexibility for shifts, and clear communication are expected. Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is advantageous.
