Roles are available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, convention venues, tourism and destination management. The culture is multicultural, combining Malay, Chinese, Indian and Indigenous traditions, with English widely used in business and tourism. Lifestyle costs vary: Kuala Lumpur is urban and convenient, while island locations offer a slower, outdoor-oriented life but fewer services.
