Job Description

The Learning & Development Manager is expected to plan, coordinate and evaluate training programmes for colleagues across the hotel. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in human resources, hospitality, education or a related field, together with several years of hotel training or HR experience. The successful candidate should understand adult learning principles, performance development and service standards, and be confident delivering workshops and coaching managers. Strong communication, presentation, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience with learning systems, training needs analysis and Shangri-La or luxury-hospitality standards would be advantageous.
