General Ledger Supervisor

Job Description

The General Ledger Supervisor oversees daily ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closing, financial reporting and compliance with company policies. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline, with relevant experience in hotel finance or a similar environment. Knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, Malaysian financial requirements and internal controls is expected. The role requires accuracy, organization, confidentiality and the ability to meet reporting deadlines. The successful candidate should be comfortable supervising colleagues, reviewing financial data, resolving discrepancies and working closely with other departments. Hotel experience and familiarity with Shangri-La procedures would be advantageous.
