Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in managing the Lobby Lounge kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, hygiene, and timely service. Candidates should have professional culinary training and several years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or lounge environment, preferably in luxury hospitality. The role requires strong knowledge of food preparation, menu standards, HACCP practices, inventory control, and kitchen safety. The successful candidate is expected to lead and coach junior colleagues, coordinate smoothly with front-of-house teams, maintain high standards during busy service periods, and contribute creative ideas while controlling waste and costs. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
