The Bancassurance Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products through UOB’s banking network, understanding customers’ financial needs, and recommending suitable protection, savings, and investment solutions. Candidates are generally expected to have a diploma or degree, relevant bancassurance or financial-services experience, strong communication and consultative-selling skills, and the ability to meet sales targets. Customer focus, ethical conduct, product knowledge, and confidence working with relationship managers are important. Singapore insurance certifications such as CMFAS modules may be required or expected. The successful candidate should be proactive, commercially driven, comfortable with compliance requirements, and able to build trusted, long-term customer relationships.
