Job Description

The role involves designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines, platforms and solutions supporting UOB Asset Management’s business technology needs. Candidates are expected to have strong experience in data engineering, ETL development, data modelling, cloud or distributed data platforms, and programming languages such as Python or SQL. Familiarity with investment data, financial systems, data governance, cybersecurity and software development practices would be valuable. As an AVP, the candidate should be able to work independently, translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions, manage stakeholders and contribute to architecture and delivery decisions. Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential, together with a commitment to data quality, operational resilience and regulatory standards.
