Destination Guide

Australia offers warehouse, transport, courier, manufacturing, retail and supply-chain opportunities, particularly in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Workplace culture is generally practical, team-oriented and focused on safety, punctuality and clear communication. Lifestyle varies from large-city living and public transport to quieter regional areas, beaches and outdoor activities. Housing costs can be high in major cities, so checking rent and commuting expenses is important before relocating. Work rights depend on visa status. Common options include employer-sponsored visas, skilled visas and working holiday visas for eligible nationalities, although conditions and age limits apply. A valid work visa, tax file number and Australian bank account are usually needed to start employment. International applicants should confirm sponsorship, visa eligibility and relocation support directly with DHL and the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Australia’s regions have different climates, so consider weather and transport access when choosing a location.
