The Class 2 Driver is responsible for safely collecting and delivering shipments using a rigid goods vehicle, completing vehicle checks, securing loads, following delivery schedules and maintaining accurate paperwork or electronic records. Candidates are expected to hold a valid UK Category C licence, Driver CPC qualification and a valid tachograph card, with a safe and responsible driving record. Previous commercial driving or parcel-delivery experience is useful. The role requires physical fitness for loading and unloading, good route-planning skills, punctuality, customer-service awareness and flexibility regarding working hours.
