The HGV Class 1 Driver will operate articulated vehicles from DHL’s SWROC multi-user site, completing planned deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and on time. Applicants should hold a valid UK Category C+E licence, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and digital tachograph card, with a safe driving record and relevant commercial driving experience preferred. The role requires compliance with drivers’ hours, vehicle checks, site procedures and DHL health and safety standards. Candidates are expected to be reliable, professional and customer-focused, with good communication skills and the flexibility to work shifts, weekends or occasional nights. Physical fitness, accurate paperwork and the ability to work independently are also important.
