Job Description

UGL is seeking Hot Works Supervisors for the AMPOL Lytton Refinery Shutdown in Queensland. The role involves supervising welding, cutting, grinding and other high-risk hot-work activities during a planned industrial shutdown. Candidates are expected to have relevant refinery, petrochemical, industrial construction or maintenance experience, strong knowledge of hot-work permits and isolation procedures, and the ability to lead trades teams safely and efficiently. Current Australian work rights, relevant trade or supervisory qualifications, safety training, medical clearance and drug-and-alcohol screening may be required. The successful candidate should communicate clearly, follow site procedures, coordinate with operations and safety personnel, and work flexibly across extended shutdown shifts, including nights, weekends and overtime.
