Job Description

The Project Accountant is responsible for supporting project financial management, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cost control, invoicing and month-end accounting. Requirements generally include relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance, experience in project accounting or commercial finance, strong Excel and financial systems skills, and an understanding of project cost structures. Experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure or major services projects is highly desirable. UGL expects candidates to provide accurate and timely financial information, work closely with project managers and commercial teams, identify financial risks, maintain compliance with company procedures, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand may be advantageous.
