The Advanced Rigger is responsible for safely planning and carrying out complex lifting, rigging, dogging and equipment relocation activities on industrial, infrastructure or energy projects. Candidates typically need relevant Australian rigging and dogging licences, proven experience with cranes, lifting gear and heavy equipment, and a strong understanding of lift plans, load calculations and workplace safety procedures. Experience in shutdowns, construction, mining or heavy industry is highly valued. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, reliable teamwork and the ability to work at heights and in demanding site conditions. Candidates are expected to follow UGL and client safety systems, maintain equipment, communicate clearly with supervisors and complete work to schedule and quality standards.
