Typical requirements include experience in Aboriginal or community engagement, stakeholder consultation, cultural awareness, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across project teams. Knowledge of Australian Indigenous histories, cultural protocols and engagement principles is highly valued. The candidate is expected to build trust, coordinate meetings and engagement activities, record commitments, support employment and procurement opportunities, and help projects meet cultural, social and consultation obligations. Regular travel to project sites or regional communities may be required. A current Australian driver’s licence and relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience may also be expected.
