Job Description

The Crane Operator will safely operate cranes and lifting equipment on construction, infrastructure or maintenance projects. Requirements generally include relevant crane licences and high-risk work tickets, proven operating experience, knowledge of lifting procedures, and the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening. Candidates are expected to follow site safety and environmental rules, inspect equipment before use, communicate clearly with doggers, riggers and supervisors, and accurately follow lift plans. Flexibility for remote or rostered work, reliable attendance, physical fitness and a strong commitment to teamwork are also important. Previous experience on major industrial, rail, resources or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
