Job Description

UGL is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer specialising in high-voltage and traction power systems for major transport or infrastructure projects in Australia. The role typically requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, professional registration or eligibility for registration, and substantial experience designing, reviewing and delivering HV, substations, traction power, protection, earthing and electrical distribution systems. Candidates should understand Australian standards, rail interfaces, safety requirements and engineering assurance processes. The successful applicant will lead technical teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, prepare designs and reports, manage engineering risks, and support construction and commissioning.
