Job Description

UGL is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor for a FIFO solar and battery energy storage project in Australia. The role typically requires relevant qualifications in environmental science, engineering, sustainability or a related discipline, along with substantial experience supporting major construction, renewable-energy or infrastructure projects. Candidates should understand environmental legislation, approvals, impact assessments, erosion and sediment control, waste management, rehabilitation and environmental monitoring. Responsibilities are likely to include implementing the project Environmental Management Plan, conducting inspections and audits, preparing reports, managing incidents and corrective actions, and advising project teams and subcontractors.
