Job Description

The E190 Training and Checking Captain is responsible for delivering pilot training, conducting proficiency checks and supporting the safe, consistent operation of Embraer E190 aircraft. Applicants are generally expected to hold an Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) ATPL, a valid E190 type rating, substantial command experience and the qualifications required to act as a Training and Checking Captain. Strong knowledge of airline procedures, safety management and regulatory standards is essential. The successful candidate should demonstrate sound judgement, clear communication, leadership and a genuine commitment to developing other pilots. Flexibility, professionalism, accurate record keeping and the ability to work rostered operations are also expected.
