Job Description

Royal Mail Postal Delivery Drivers collect, sort, transport and deliver letters and parcels safely and efficiently across an assigned route. The role requires a valid UK driving licence, good driving skills, physical fitness, reliability and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. Candidates should be comfortable walking or driving for extended periods, lifting and handling mail, following delivery procedures and using handheld technology. Good customer service, time management and communication skills are important. Applicants must demonstrate a responsible attitude, attention to detail and flexibility, including willingness to work weekends or adjusted hours when required. Previous delivery experience is useful but is not always essential, as training is normally provided.
