Job Description

A Mail Sorter at Royal Mail processes letters and parcels accurately and efficiently within a busy distribution centre. Typical duties include unloading mail, sorting items by destination, scanning and labelling shipments, preparing containers, and keeping work areas safe and organised. Candidates should be physically fit enough to stand, walk, lift and handle mail for extended periods, with good attention to detail and reliability. Previous warehouse experience may be helpful but is not always essential, as training is usually provided. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and peak holiday periods.
